Your income, total living expenses, liabilities and credit history will all impact how much you can borrow. Use our home loan calculator to estimate your borrowing capacity in just 5 minutes. This is quick and easy, and it won’t have any impact on your credit score.
Home Loan FAQ
We will determine the interest rate and any fees and charges based on a variety of factors, including:
• The size of your deposit
• Nature of the security property
• LVR (Loan to Value Ratio)
• Your income
• Credit history
• Anything you own
• Any credit or liability
• Chosen repayment method (paying off principal and/or interest-only)
• Purpose of the loan (for an investor property or owner-occupier)
• Loan term
You can obtain an indicative interest quote by using our borrowing rate calculator.

Some of our loans offer financing up to 95% of the purchase price. This means that you can begin looking at purchasing a house after you have saved at least 5%. The property you are interested in purchasing and your personal financial position will affect how much deposit you need.
Remember that there may be additional expenses involved in buying a house. There will be extra costs for legal and government fees that cannot be added to the home loan balance.
You will need documents to support your financial position, including bank statements, payslips (or other proof of income), personal identification, and a snapshot illustrating your current asset and liability position.
We need two current payslips for PAYG applicants plus some, or all, of these depending on your personal circumstances, and the lender’s criteria:
• Most recent group certificates
• Most recent tax return / Notice of Assessment
• Current letter of employment
• Bank statements – to confirm 3 months’ worth of salary credits
For Self-Employed applications, we require your last two year’s Tax Returns, two-year’s Notice of Assessment, and 12 month’s business bank statement. If you are self-employed but cannot provide these documents, you may still be eligible to receive an alternative documentation (alt doc) loan. Contact us to find out more.
